PEPFAR South Africa (SA), with the assistance of Health Information Systems Program - South Africa (HISP-SA), has established a real-time Human Resources Inventory called PEPFAR-SA HRID.

All PEPFAR SA implementing partners are requested to complete this inventory. The purpose of this Human Resources inventory is to:

• Obtain detailed, accurate and real-time data on all personnel funded by PEPFAR SA;
• Improve understanding of the extent and nature of PEPFAR SA human resource investments; and
• Facilitate PEPFAR South Africa strategic planning towards transition of posts to the South African Government (SAG) or other institutions.
